A message from our Principal:

Dear Machen Nation Families,

Hello and welcome to Luther W. Machen Elementary School! I am very proud to once again be a part of the Mustang Team. We have an exciting and adventurous 2021-2022 school year ahead of us and are ready to welcome all of our students back into the building. This year our focus is on engagement and belonging as we want all of our students to reach their full potential both academically and socially. Our staff is committed to collaboration, positive relationships, and high expectations. We also encourage our students and families to commit to those values to ensure that “we” make this year the best it can be!

I encourage all of our parents to learn about the Machen PTA and to get involved in any way that you can! Our PTA is in need of officers for the 21-22 school year. There are many ways of getting involved, and one of those ways is to simply support the events and fundraisers each year!

Parents, to stay up to date with the happenings at Machen I encourage you to check out the following:

A message from our Assistant Principal:

Hello Machen Nation Families,

I am so honored to be the proud and new Assistant Principal of Luther W. Machen Elementary School! I am grateful to be working with Mrs. Humble and getting to know each and every one of you this school year.

As you know, last school year was different and more challenging than previous school years, but we are excited about the 2021-22 school year. I know everyone here at Machen works together to ensure that all students feel safe, are engaged, and are successful at meeting expectations both academically and personally. I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you in order to help all our Machen Mustangs be successful because Machen is “Where Everyone is a STAR and Deserves to Shine!”
